The first step to going to the National Convention as a Delegate is to be elected as a State-Level Delegate at your County, Township, or Ward mass meeting.

If you were elected as a congressional and state party delegate and want to run for a National Delegate position at the Congressional District meeting, you must fill out a statement of candidacy by April 30 and submit it in advance to the Missouri Democratic Party Party Chair, Russ Carnahan via email to delegate@missouridems.org.

Those interested in being elected as a Pledged Party Leader or Elected Official Delegate (PLEO) at the May 18th State Committee Meeting need to fill out and submit their candidacy forms by May 12 at 7 PM to the Missouri Democratic Party Party Chair, Russ Carnahan via email to delegate@missouridems.org.

At-large delegates will be elected at the State Convention in June 2024. Candidacy forms must be submitted to the MDP by May 31, 2024, at 7 PM.

Those elected as state-level delegates are expected to attend congressional district meetings and the state convention in Columbia, on June 22, 2024. More information available soon.
